With longest serving GOP senator in the news lately, with his seven new convictions for illegal acceptance and failure to document gifts,here is Ted Steven’s Internet speech against net neutrality, put to techno. Enjoy.
UPDATE 7/31/08 4:40pm eastern time: Steven’s trial is set for September 24, just a little more than a month leading up to the election. This can’t be good for the Alaska GOP and hopes of maintaining control of this otherwise safely Republican seat. And now the poll numbers show Stevens in a statistical free fall. If the Republicans want to maintain control of that seat they better persuade Steven’s to pull out of the race or Alaskans better vote to defeat him in the upcoming GOP primary.
