UPDATE- Death toll rises, U.S sends aid after Cyclone strikes Bangledesh

Number of deaths in the horrific aftermath of a cyclone that pounded Bangledesh on Thursday now stands at 1,723 this morning. As many as 474 deaths have been reported thus far.

The United States is now deploying some 3,000 Soliders, in addition to helicopters and supplies to the nation now wounded by this recent blow dealt to it by mother nature. Two Navy ships have also been deployed, especially to help the fishermen’s communiuty which has been hit especially hard in this disaster.
