1885: The first photograph of a snowflake is taken.

1892: The rules of the game of Basketball are first published.

1919: The Boston Molasses Disaster occurs.

1929: Civil Rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr is born.

1936: The first building covered in glass is finished in Toledo Ohio.

1943: The Pentagon is first dedicated.

1967: First Superbowl is played, with the Green Bay packers playing against the Kansas City Chiefs.

1973: U.S Military Actions against the North Vietnamese are suspended.

2001: Wikipedia goes online.
