1885: The Roller coaster is for the first time patented in the U.S.

1892: First official game of basketball is played in Springfield, Massachusetts.

1920: The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is established.

1937: U.S President Franklin Delano Roosevelt gives his second inaugural address marking the start of his second term.

1942: Nazi’s agree on the “final solution to the Jewish Problem” at the Wannese conference.

1961: John F Kennedy is inaugurated President of the United States.

1966: Author and Counter culture Icon Ken Kesey is busted again with “Mountain Girl”.

1969: Richard M Nixon is inaugurated.

1981: U.S hostages are released in the Iranian hostage crisis.

1981: Ronald Reagan gives his first inauguration address.
