The Grand Canyon is offically established as a U.S National Park by the U.S Congress.

1919: The Grand Canyon is established as a U.S National Park.

1929: The Grand Teton Park in Wyoming officially becomes a U.S National Park

1949: Screen actor Robert Mitchum leaves prison, after serving a sentence for marijuana possession.

1957: Dragnet airs for the last time on Network radio.

1970: The United States Army ceases the gathering of intelligence and survelliance of civilian Anti-war activists.

1991: The first web browser is introduced by Tim Berners Lee.

1993: The World Trade center is attacked when a truck bomb is planted in New York City
