The Cone of Silence is Real?

In off-beat, Technology, television on May 31, 2008 by Editor Z

“Don’t tell me the cone of silence is real. I told you not to tell me that.”

Anyone who ever watched the Mel Brooks created 1960s spy spoof TV series Get Smart should remember the cone of silence, that bubble like plastic cone device that Agent Maxwell Smart and the Chief would often use even though it never worked. Well according to some repoprts the cone of sillence amongst other devices, on 1960s spy shows such as Get Smart and the Man from U.N.C.L.E were real. For the CIA’s sake, the cone of silence better have worked better in real life then on the tv show.
